Residential Refurbishment

Michael Brady Ltd has been specialising in the high end residential refurbishment for a quarter of a century. During this time, through our dedication to quality, we have built a reputation as a leading high-end residential refurbishment contractor in central London. We have worked for a number of high profile clients on some of the most prestigious addresses in London.

We understand that every project is unique and personal to the client and work closely to ensure their every necessity is met.

Listed Buildings

Michael Brady Ltd have extensive experience working on complex Grade I and Grade II Listed Buildings. We have worked on the main London property estates including Crown, Grosvenor, Cadogan and de Walden.

Using our professional team of Construction and Project Managers, Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers and Skilled Trades, we are able to undertake and build out the most testing and technically demanding tasks associated with the unique challenges faced when working within Listed Buildings.

Leisure and Hotels

Michael Brady Ltd undertakes a number of projects throughout the Leisure Industry, predominately the refurbishment and expansion of hotels. 

When dealing with these projects there is understandably a huge importance on time, for example a recent project involving a popular hotel chain had bookings three months in advance of our contract completion date. Using MBL's experience and working efficiently as a team we were able to successfully deliver the project within budget and on time, before the first guest stepped through the doors.

Design & Build

Design and Build has become a popular and successful method of construction in recent years as it offers the client complete security on price and timeframe. At Michael Brady Ltd we can offer a complete Design and Build service and work closely with either the clients preferred architect or we can offer this service to the client.

We have recently undertaken a project in North London which was a Design and Build of 12 new flats built on top of an occupied building of 36 flats. We overcame many obstacles on this project and by careful planning and design we were able to deliver a successful project to the client. 

Commercial

Whilst Michael Brady Ltd have built a reputation as a leading contractor in the high end residential market, we have also undertaken various commercial projects over the last 25 years including CAT A and CAT B fit-outs, dilapidations works and light industrial projects.

We have recently recruited staff from predominately commercial backgrounds and this is an area of our business we are keen to expand. 

Sustainable Building

At Michael Brady Ltd we understand the need to reduce the carbon footprint in the construction industry and that equal efforts have to be put in from every level from government officials to the construction workers on site.

The Government have set out to reduce the UK’s greenhouse gas emissions by 80% by 2050 with the Climate Change Act 2008. We have worked with the code of sustainable homes and BREEAM and fully understand the efforts required between all parties from integrating energy efficient site accommodation to efficient use of construction plant.

New Build

Over the past 25 years Michael Brady Ltd has been commissioned by both property developers and private clients to undertake a range of New Build Projects, from single family homes to developments of 30 house estate’s in Devon. We have the resources and capabilities to undertake all types and sizes of New Build Projects.

We recently undertook a new build project in NW10 where we built three new houses with each one bespoke to the different client’s needs. Another one of our recent projects was a new build estate of 18 individual dwellings for a private property developer in Hertfordshire.

Basement Construction

The growing need for space, particularly within London, has led to the construction of increasingly larger and more innovative basements. This is a specialist and unique form of construction and we have vast experience in this area from conversions of smaller basements to the construction of new basements up to 500m2 in size with the existing building kept in situ above. 

We understand the disruption basement construction can cause to the neighbouring area therefore we work closely with the local council and all parties affected to make sure the construction runs as smoothly as possible.
